How it works is simple and straightforward
Members submit a monthly “contribution” (similar to an insurance premium).
Member contributions are placed into an escrow account, from which members’ medical needs are shared according to the membership guidelines and escrow instructions. The HealthShare Plus member guidelines explain what eligible medical needs are shared through the membership.
When you receive medical services, you will present your HealthShare Plus member ID card. The provider should submit the medical need according to the instructions on the back of the member ID card, which will then be processed according to the membership guidelines and escrow instructions.
